Mood nail polish

Spring has sprung! After months of freezing cold days and nights, the weather is starting to warm up. Granted, it's still cold, but not frigid. I discovered the perfect nail polish while browsing ETSY. Mood Color-Changing Nail Polish by CocoAllurePolish!

This polish is really neat. It is a purple jelly polish, which changes to a light pink when warm, with small magenta glitter and med and large blue hexagonal glitter. When I first put the polish on, my hands were freezing, as they usually are, so I turned on my wall heater and started warming them up. Below you can see the color change transitions.

Spring Nails

The other day I was looking at the trees and commented on the little buds appearing. The next morning, I looked out my window to find the trees were covered in flowers. Such a dramatic difference, overnight! Spring is here!

In the spirit of the season, I would like to show you some nail polish I have been playing with, that goes well with spring.

New Years Nails!

So in the spirit of New Years, I decided to do my nails with confetti glitter nail polish! I used 3 different polishes I purchased recently. The first is China Glaze "Luxe and Lush" from the Hunger Games collection. It is a very chunky glitter, so it required 2 coats of top coat.

Holiday nails!

In the spirit of the holidays I thought I'd post my favorite holiday nail polishes for everyone!

I recently bought a few polishes from KBShimmer. As always the polishes are amazing! I get so many compliments on my nails when I wear her polishes (even from men!)

The first one is Candy Cane Crush. This polish is part of the Christmas collection, but it would also be good for Valentines Day and the Fourth of July (if you put it on top of blue polish.) Not only is the polish itself cute, but it is scented! Every time I wear it I just randomly start smelling my nails. I started doing it involuntarily. They smell like mint chip ice cream (mmmmm.) My friends were in awe of the smell! It's a clear polish with different sized hexagonal glitters in red and white. The polish part is a tad yellow due to the scented oils in it, so it might not work as well on white, but it works beautifully on other colors. I only had to use 1 layer of the polish followed by 1 or 2 layers of Sally Hansen's Insta Dry top coat to finish it off.
